BAR-B-MAX Product Care and Usage Guidelines
 
MAX RACK Quick User Guide:
1. PRIOR TO FIRST USE of the Aluminium MAX RACK unique shelving system, heat your hooded Barbecue (with MAX RACK inside) to around 200 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes to ensure that any anti-corrosive substance from the aluminium supplier is no longer evident.All welds have been cleaned so any protective substance is no longer present but a pre-heat is always recommended for safe cooking practices.
        
2. DIMENSIONS - MAX RACK is designed to maximize the internal cooking space within most hooded BBQ’s - check your barbecue's dimensions before making a purchase. Find all MAX RACK dimensions here.
 
3. USE ON LOW HEAT
When using the MAX RACK always cook on low heat as the high setting may deliver far too much heat with the lid down.
 
 
4. COOKING TRAYS
The BAR-B-Max Range of stainless steel cooking trays are designed especially to suit the MAX RACK. As with all metals, heat can tend to warp the trays while cooking but they should return to their original flat surface after cooling.
 
We recommend the use of baking paper or grill mats to stop food sticking to the trays and for ease of cleaning.
 
5. HANDLING
Never handle a hot MAX RACK. Always use an oven glove or any other appropriate insulating material to hold trays and quality tongs or non- scratch spatula or similar utensils to turn your food.
 
6. CLEANING
Over time your MAX RACK may tarnish and become a yellowish colour.  We recommend an abrasive scouring pad to remove mild stains and food splatter.
 
The BAR-B-MAX custom stainless steel cooking trays can be put in your dishwasher safely. Over time, baked on grease may necessitate a scouring pad and detergent in the sink to remove.
 
The MAX Shield will tarnish over time due to the proximity of the heat from the gas burners.
 
 
7. THE TWO SHELF SYSTEM
 
The Top Shelf is ideal for roasting meats & croissants or general food warming. This level is perfect for baking fish fillets without the need to turn over. Click here for some great cooking idea’s.
 
The Lower Shelf is ideal for cooking chips, veggies etc. Always cook on low heat as the high setting will deliver far too much heat with the lid down. . This is commonly noted on the guidelines of your BBQ. (Cooking with the lid down on high must be only for a 20 minute maximum)

BAR-B-MAX Product Warranty
 
BAR-B-MAX products are guaranteed against defective materials and manufacturing faults for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase under the following provisions:
1. The warranty is non-transferable and does not cover damage to products caused by accident, rental, misuse or tampering in any way.
        
2. This warranty becomes void if the serial number has been removed, defaced, changed or if alterations have been made in the warranty certificate and if the product is repaired by anyone other than authorised repairers.
 
3. Proof of purchase must be produced when making a warranty claim.
 
 
4. The warranty is null and void from any of the following and does not cover damages resulting from:
a) usage not in accordance with cooking guidelines
b) Any corrosion, rusting or stains
c) Any wear and tear
d) losses, damages, overheating or defects caused by acts of nature
 
5. The warranty is valid in Australia only.
 
6. Customers agree to abide by terms and conditions of warranty and the decision of the supplier shall be final

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable forseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to be a major failure.
